My interest in computers started back in 1988 I think, when I was at school and used to spend my lunch hours in the computer room. I remember we had RM Nimbus's and I could do very little with them. In 1989 I bought my first computer an Amstrad 1640, it was a 286 with 640K Ram and a EGA screen. Later I got a 10Mb harddisk for it. But still I could do nothing much with it.
In 1994 I bought an Olivetti PCS 11, it had a 386 with 4Mb Ram and 20Mb harddisk with VGA graphics. Now I was learning something, I was learning Windows 3.1.
Now in 2004 I have lots of computers and I can safely say I know what I am doing. Below are pictures of my work area from 1990 and 2004, you can see how busy it is now. I have also detailed my computers and other gadgets.
